Looks like it’s back to 2nd grade History and Geography for Barack Obama.
The 57 United States?
Just imagine if John McCain said this.

The POSSIBLE future First Lady:
‘I want to rip Bill Clinton’s eyes out.
In Wisconsin, I asked her if she was offended by Bill Clinton’s use of the phrase ‘fairytale’ to describe her husband’s characterisation of his position on the Iraq war. At first, Obama responded with a curt ‘No’. But, after a few seconds, she affected a funny voice. ‘I want to rip his eyes out!’ she said, clawing at the air with her fingernails. One of her advisers gave her a nervous look. ‘Kidding!’ Obama said. ‘See, this is what gets me into trouble.’
Stay classy Michelle…stay classy.

The left and the nutroots like Firedoglake are crying over the ACCURATE add in North Carolina add tying democrat candidates Bev Perdue and Richard Moore for governor to Obama, questioning Obama’s judgment and ties to the radical Reverend Wright.
Firedoglake » Liddy Dole: Chock Full O’ Empty
Well, that’s beyond pathetic. Leadership: not what Liddy Dole does. Clearly.
Hello, earth to Liddy — the NCGOP is running their offensive, race-baiting ad as a YouTube on the front page of their website (it’s on the internets, dear, have your staff pull it up for you). And it says “The Official Website of the North Carolina Republican Party” right there on the front page, along with identifying you, dear, as one of their very own NCGOP-endorsed candidates.
Since the NCGOP is some random third party with which she claims no connection, methinks she ought to return the thousands of dollars in political money they have given her. Since she has no acknowledged connection to their “third party ads,” then she probably shouldn’t take their filthy money either, right? Bless her heart…
Looks like a little truth washed up on the shore of Firedoglake and they don’t like it.
Cry me a river nutroots….cry me a river.

Uncertainty? Seems John Edwards wants to be in two places at once…Just in case…
John & Elizabeth Edwards: What We Like (and Dislike) About Clinton & Obam
saving their political capital for their own causes – his, fighting poverty; hers, fighting for universal health care.
here is possibly the most intelegent thing John Edwards has ever said when it comes to politics;
John Edwards on Obama - People.com
As for Obama, he says: “Sometimes I want to see more substance under the rhetoric.”
I hope you brought your micropscope John because you’re going to have to look awful hard to find “substance”.

Seems the nutroots are all giddy over the CBS / NY Times Poll showing Obama rebounding in the wake of the Reverend Wright debacle.
Only problem is the CBS / NY Times poll seems off by as much as 10 TIMES the other polls.

CBS Poll: Support For Obama Rebounds, In Wake Of Controversy Over Former Pastor
(CBS) Democrat Barack Obama appears to have rebounded from some of the damage caused by the controversy surrounding his former pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright, according to the latest CBS News/New York Times poll.
On one key measure, Obama has seen a big reversal since his denunciation of Wright’s remarks on Tuesday. He now leads presumptive Republican nominee John McCain in the hypothetical fall contest by eleven points, 51 percent to 40 percent. That compares to a tied match-up in a CBS News/New York Times poll that was released last Wednesday.

Josh Marshall from TPM is a Hack and he knows it.
Factcheck.org has thoroughly debunked and ripped to shreds the DNC add that claims McCain want 100 more years of war in Iraq.
Still Josh Marshall still clings to the lie.

Hopefully a sign of things to come here in the U.S.
Not such a good night for Gordon Brown and the Labour Party
AFP.com
LONDON (AFP) - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown admitted Friday that his party had suffered a “bad” blow in key local elections, as forecasts predicted the worst results for Labour since the 1960s.
—————
The Conservatives have 44 percent of the vote, the Liberal Democrats 25 percent and Labour 24 percent, according to BBC projections, which added that this result would be its worst in local polls since the late 1960s.
With results from 100 out of 159 local councils officially announced, the Conservatives had won 45 local councils, Labour 14 and the Liberal Democrats six. The remainder were not controlled by any single party.

And of course the leftist nutroots like Jerome Armstrong of MYDD are heavily invested in the Labour and Liberal Democrats across the pond, advising candidates like Brian Paddick the liberal democrat who looks to be losing London’s race for Mayor, who looks like he will lose big time to Conservative Party member Boris Johnson.
Here is MYDD’s Jerome Johnson on Paddick;
And you just have to take a look at Brian Paddick, the LD’s candidate for Mayor in London. I got a chance to meet with him, advising him and his staff on using the internet for viral campaign strategy, and what a change he’d bring.
