TPM Hackery »

Josh Marshall from TPM is a Hack and he knows it.

Factcheck.org
has thoroughly debunked and ripped to shreds the DNC add that claims McCain want 100 more years of war in Iraq.

Still Josh Marshall still clings to the lie.

Firedoglake - Juvenile Blogging for Dummies »

Firedoglake….A daily lesson on how to operate a political blog like a group of Jr. High School brats.

And the Nutroots wonder why the Democrats ran away from them.

Funny the only Democrat candidate to embrace the nutroots wholesale was John Edwards……John Who?

Oh wait you mean John Edwards the guy Joe Trippi is now saying “could have been a contender”?

TPM Moans over AP agreeing DNC ad Smearing McCain is a Lie »

Talking Points Memo | Hook, Line and Sinker

It seems the AP has fallen for the McCain campaign’s and the RNC’s effort to prevent anyone from using McCain’s own words against him during the 2008 presidential campaign. As noted earlier, what the McCain campaign is pushing for here is a standard in which any negative ad targeting McCain must be delivered with the McCain camp’s own spin included in order to be within bounds — a standard few politicians, to say the least, have ever been granted. And even though the political press has been highly indulgent of the McCain campaign on this issue, I don’t think I’ve seen any news organization so egregiously buy into McCain’s false statements as the Associated Press.

Once again - The DNC add

Once again - What McCain really said

Yup nothing like using John McCains own words to expose the hackery of the DNC .

100 Years and McCain - Reducing American Deaths is Irrelevant to The DNC and Nutroots »

If the latest smear add by the DNC is any indication of their political prowess and campaign savvy all I can say is hello President McCain.

Here is the latest DNC smear add aimed at John McCain.

What the DNC left out of their smear add…

Evidently the feckless Nutroots and DNC believe that McCains full comment will never be found.

MyDD :: Using John McCain’s Own Words Against Him

This is fun. The DNC has another ad up hitting John McCain using his own words (see their first one HERE), this time for his “100 years in Iraq” statement. The RNC has, predictably, hit back whining that it distorts what McCain said but their cries of “out of context! distortion!” ignore a very important thing and something that’s threatening to become a liability for John McCain: videotape doesn’t lie.

and here is what one of he bottom feeders at Firedoglake had to say

The wingnuts claim it’s “out of context.”

But it’s not. This is what he said when a questioner stated that
President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for fifty years.

The fact that the nutroots feel confident that their readers won’t click outside there sphere of delusion is hilarious.

Huffington Post Manufactures McCain Headline alters NY Times Headline »

Here is one of the latest manufactured headlines at The Huffington Post

McCain: I’ll Cut Deficits Like Reagan - Who Tripled The Deficit

The Huffington Post references a NY Times article about John Mcacin on the campaign trail talking about the economy.

Here is the NY Times headline:

Asked About the Deficit, McCain Cites Reagan’s Example

There is only one problem, nowhere in The New York Times article did McCain say that he would “cut deficits like Reagan”, The Huffington Post just decided to manufacture the “quote”.

McCain al Qaeda Iran and The Nutroots »

The left is gleeful thinking they found John McCain uttering a huge gaff which to them of course means that his Presidential aspirations are over. As usual the left is wrong but that doesn’t stop the Nutroots like Think Progress and MYDD.

Redstate points to a good writeup in the Weekly Standard that shows just how ignorant the left is when it comes to the Middle East and the War on Terrorism.

The Weekly Standard

Some bloggers are jumping all over Senator John McCain for his supposed “gaffe” today. According to The Trail, a blog over at the Washington Post, McCain said that Iranian operatives were “taking al-Qaeda into Iran, training them and sending them back.”

——–

But McCain was right the first time. He shouldn’t have taken his statement back. And it’s the bloggers who are ignorant–not John McCain.
