Nutroot Wishful Thinking »

Another Nutroot / Progressive delusion.

Democrats really aren’t divided it’s just that the left has allowed that “narrative” to develop….oh and Clinton or Obama will enjoy their fair share of Republican crossover voters?

MyDD :: But What About The Republican Defectors?

Funny how, at a time when things really couldn’t be worse for Republicans, we’ve allowed a narrative to develop (in fact, we’ve fueled it) about how divided the Democratic Party is and how damaged the eventual nominee will be as a result of the fractured bases of the two candidates. The fact is, Republicans are loving it and, yes, are using it to prop up John McCain.

………

What’s left out of the conversation, however — conveniently for John McCain — is not only the number of Republicans voting against the presumptive nominee in primary after primary, which, as Chris Dodd pointed out on Meet The Press, is usually in the 20-25% range, but also the number of Republicans likely to vote Democratic in the general election.

John McCain is one of the more “independent” Republicans, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are two of the more far left members of the Democratic party.

Forget the polls, do the math and ask yourself who are “Independents” and swingable Republicans more likely to vote for?

Obama Clinton and Their Terrorist Friends »

Newsmax.com - Clinton, Obama and Terrorist Ties

Americans who are considering voting for the Democratic Party in the upcoming election, owe it to themselves to know exactly for whom they are voting.

When it comes to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, what they will find are two candidates with dangerous ties to terrorists and anti-American radicals.

The Nutroots Meltdown - Uncle Tom and Gay-Baiting. »

Cudos to Little Green Footballs for revealing the Dailykos kids “Uncle Tom”-ing of Barack Obama.

lgf: Daily Kos: ‘Uncle Tom’ Obama

Barack Obama’s repudiation of Jeremiah Wright didn’t go over well with many of the Kos Kids.

Daily Kos: State of the Nation

I have been a huge supporter of Barack. He is the guy I’ve been behind for quite awhile now. Check my older diaries if you wonder about that. And while I’ve been steeling myself for a Barack loss in November, because I think the Repug machine is too good for him to beat, I had resigned myself to still working hard for him and for the Progressive cause!

But today something changed for me…

Today, the scales fell from my eyes and I saw Barack Obama for what he truly is: a weak man and a standard politician. I really never thought I would say this…

But I am disgusted with him!

You know the democrats and nutroots are in complete disarray when the nutroots are accusing Hillary Clinton supporters (North Carolina Governor Mike Easley) of “Gay Baiting”

Firedoglake » Governor Mike Easley’s Clinton Endorsement Marred By Gay-Baiting

North Carolina Governor Mike Easley tainted his endorsement of Senator Clinton when he used a common gay slur at the end of his riff on how much he loves strong women:

ABC News’ Eloise Harper Reports: Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton received the endorsement of North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley Tuesday morning in Raleigh, NC. After touring a bio-manufacturing training center, Gov. Easley, First Lady of North Carolina Mary Easley and Clinton held a ceremony at NC State University. The Governor formally expressed his support saying that there was “nothing I love more than a strong powerful woman.” Easley concluded his remarks saying Clinton — “makes Rocky Balboa look like a pansy”.

Typical children, when somebody does something they don’t like, don’t adress the issue just hurl slanderous accusations and insults.
