McCain al Qaeda Iran and The Nutroots

The left is gleeful thinking they found John McCain uttering a huge gaff which to them of course means that his Presidential aspirations are over. As usual the left is wrong but that doesn’t stop the Nutroots like Think Progress and MYDD.
Redstate points to a good writeup in the Weekly Standard that shows just how ignorant the left is when it comes to the Middle East and the War on Terrorism.
Some bloggers are jumping all over Senator John McCain for his supposed “gaffe” today. According to The Trail, a blog over at the Washington Post, McCain said that Iranian operatives were “taking al-Qaeda into Iran, training them and sending them back.”——–But McCain was right the first time. He shouldn’t have taken his statement back. And it’s the bloggers who are ignorant–not John McCain.
